Dr. Amanda Fisher, DNP, ARNP

Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner

Amanda was born and raised in Washington and calls the Skagit Valley her home. She attended Seattle University where she completed her Doctorate in Nursing specializing in Family Practice. She also attended Western Washington University earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and earned a Licensed Practical Nurse Certificate and Associates Degree in Nursing from Skagit Valley Community College. Her love for nursing began as a nursing assistant at a skilled nursing facility caring for patients with disabilities and the frail elderly. Amanda has many years of experience working as a bedside nurse in the hospital setting.

She has a passion for serving underserved populations and increasing access to quality health care. Her philosophy of care is providing patient-centered care by keeping patients and families informed and focusing on the patient’s needs and health goals.

When Amanda is not with her patients, she enjoys spending time with her two kids. Together they have a hobby farm with goats, chickens, cows, and pigs. She also enjoys sports, refinishing furniture, and cooking.
